A new kitchen, with the surrounding work considered.
A cabinetry replacement and a wider kitchen renovation involve different scopes. We assess the existing room and define the cabinet, surface, finish and associated work needed for your intended result.
Understand what changes
Review the existing cabinetry, layout, appliances and finishes. Some projects retain the room arrangement; others require wider coordination. The visible condition and intended changes inform the proposal.
- Existing conditions and measurements
- Components to retain or remove
- Layout and storage priorities
- Site access and timing constraints
Cabinetry and surfaces
The scope may include removal of specified components, replacement cabinetry, modifications, new custom millwork and countertop replacement. Each inclusion is documented.
- Cabinet replacement or selected modifications
- Custom storage and panels
- Countertop replacement and coordination
- Appliance specifications and clearances
Associated work
Finishing, service changes and other renovation work are reviewed for the project. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural work and permits are not assumed to be included.
- Required trade coordination
- Wall and finish improvements where contracted
- Material supply responsibilities
- Written scope and relevant exclusions
Clear responsibilities before work starts.
Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural changes, permits and other specialized work must be specifically reviewed and addressed in the agreement. We do not promise a fixed schedule or guaranteed price before reviewing the property and requirements.

Explore the complete approach ↗Before we begin.
Can you renovate only part of the room?
Selective improvements may be possible, depending on existing conditions, the intended result and the agreed work.
Will the estimate say what is included?
The quotation and agreement define the proposed scope, specifications, supply responsibilities and relevant exclusions.
Can cabinetry and renovation work be combined?
Yes. Projects can combine custom millwork with specified renovation work, subject to the reviewed and agreed scope.
What happens if hidden conditions are discovered?
Unforeseen conditions may need additional review, revised scope, schedule adjustments or a written change order. They should be discussed before proceeding with affected work.
Are plumbing and electrical work included?
Only when specifically reviewed and included through appropriately qualified trades. Specialist work and permits must be addressed for the particular project.
