TIMBERRY — Custom Millwork • Interiors
Interior Renovations / Calgary

Improve the space you already have.

Interior renovations bring existing conditions, room finishes and new millwork into one plan. We define the work around the rooms affected and the result you want to achieve.

01 / Interior Renovations

Review the existing interior

The condition of walls, ceilings, floors and existing cabinetry helps define the work. Selective improvements may be possible without replacing every element.

  • Room photos and measurements
  • What remains and what changes
  • Access and occupancy requirements
  • Existing surfaces and visible conditions
02 / Interior Renovations

Define the work

A project-dependent scope may include selective demolition, drywall installation and finishing, painting, flooring, trim, feature walls and cabinetry installation. This is not a fixed package.

  • Specified demolition and preparation
  • Drywall and interior painting
  • Flooring, baseboards and trim
  • Custom millwork and feature walls
03 / Interior Renovations

Coordinate the sequence

Selections, approvals, site readiness and the work of specialist trades influence scheduling. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural work and permits must be separately reviewed.

  • Agreed work sequence and access
  • Material and supply responsibilities
  • Necessary trade coordination
  • Written changes for unforeseen conditions
04 / Interior Renovations

Prepare the room for its next use

Interior work can involve more than replacing its cabinetry. We review what needs to be removed, corrected or built before the finishes begin.

  • Demolition within the agreed scope
  • Framing, wall and floor leveling, and appropriate substrates
  • Insulation and sealing where appropriate
  • Drywall installation, mudding and taping
05 / Interior Renovations

Coordinate the visible finishes

The room should read as one considered whole. Millwork, surfaces and finishing trades are planned together.

  • Tile and backsplash installation
  • LVP and other flooring as specified
  • Painting, interior doors, trim and baseboards
  • Cabinetry, countertops, lighting and LED details
06 / Interior Renovations

Bring the right trades into the plan

Electrical and plumbing are coordinated through qualified trades. Scope, access, sequencing and permit responsibilities must be confirmed for the property.

  • Kitchen, bathroom, basement, laundry and office interiors
  • Review existing conditions before committing to the work
  • Document inclusions, supply responsibilities and changes
  • Confirm regulated work and applicable permit requirements before proceeding
A defined renovation scope

Clear responsibilities before work starts.

Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural changes, permits and other specialized work must be specifically reviewed and addressed in the agreement. We do not promise a fixed schedule or guaranteed price before reviewing the property and requirements.

Useful answers

Before we begin.

Can you renovate only part of the room?

Selective improvements may be possible, depending on existing conditions, the intended result and the agreed work.

Will the estimate say what is included?

The quotation and agreement define the proposed scope, specifications, supply responsibilities and relevant exclusions.

Can cabinetry and renovation work be combined?

Yes. Projects can combine custom millwork with specified renovation work, subject to the reviewed and agreed scope.

What happens if hidden conditions are discovered?

Unforeseen conditions may need additional review, revised scope, schedule adjustments or a written change order. They should be discussed before proceeding with affected work.

Are plumbing and electrical work included?

Only when specifically reviewed and included through appropriately qualified trades. Specialist work and permits must be addressed for the particular project.
